Maintenance Strategy Selection using Fuzzy Delphi Method in Royal Malaysian Air Force

The proper maintenance strategy is significant in extending assets and equipment, thus saving within an organization. Currently, there are three types of strategies implemented the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), namely Reactive Maintenance (RM), Preventive (PM), Condition Based (CBM). Due to constraints terms costs by RMAF, choosing right important ensure that provision can be optimized. In this research study, Fuzzy Delphi Method has been used as a tool determining most effective adopted RMAF. output agreement opinion from experts related field select appropriate strategy. strategy, goals set first line with RMAF maintenance’s objectives. specified follows; low cost, reducing chance breakdown, safety, feasibility on acceptance labor, response time starting failure. Later, result showed fuzzy score for RM, PM, CBM was 0.747, 0.789, 0.767, respectively. highest accepted method chosen expert. have outlined, agreed choose PM should given priority compared other methods due score.
